Camping Khukuri – Traditional Camp & Trail Blade
This Khukuri is a more modern design handle and has been made in Full Tang. The tapered tang is to better fit the hand. The handle has grooves carved into it and lightning bolts to improve grip. My better half Carrie was the inspiration of this style of handle. The Blade has a large fuller on either side to reduce weight. The Leather Sheath comes with a ring for a dangler or attaching to backpack. The handle is a more Americanized shape with a lengthened grip for those with large hands. This is one of my favorites. Version 2 has had a finger choil added.

Blade came quickly and was even more than I expected. Well finished, beautiful grips, well fitted. Blade was sharp and tang thru grips was tapered, a feature usually found on higher end knives. Sheath was very nice. I feel like I got a real bargain for what I paid. I’m keeping an eye on the website as I’m considering a couple of Bowies that are out of stock. Very happy with my purchase and recommend them for user blades.
