Heritage Khukuri – Traditional Working Blade
: The Heritage Khukuri is a copy of one of my personal khukuri. I have been asked many times about what khukuri I would carry. This is a reproduction of one of my personal khukuri. We will discuss in January if I should make this a standard product for the website.
The Heritage Khukuri honors a blade design that has served for centuries as both tool and companion. Rooted in Nepali tradition, this khukuri reflects the balance, strength, and practicality that made the pattern indispensable to generations of farmers, woodsmen, and soldiers.
Hand-forged in small batches using time-tested methods, each Heritage Khukuri carries the character of true craftsmanship. It is not made to follow trends, but to preserve a working tradition.
A Knife with Purpose
The forward-weighted blade delivers efficient cutting power, making the Heritage Khukuri well suited for:
-
Clearing brush and light wood
-
Camp and trail work
-
Chopping, slicing, and general outdoor tasks
The curved edge engages material naturally, while the thick spine provides durability and confidence during hard use.
Traditional Craftsmanship
Each Heritage Khukuri is forged, ground, and finished by hand. The blade is heat-treated for toughness and edge retention, then sharpened to a practical working edge that can be easily maintained in the field.
The handle follows traditional khukuri form, shaped for a secure and comfortable grip. Its balance allows the blade to work efficiently with less effort, even during extended use.
