The Bhojpure Khukuri is known by the the name of the village where this khukuri originated. From listening to customer feedback: Bringing a Bhojpure Khukuri with full tang instead of traditional stick tang and this one has a thicker spine at nearly 3/8 inch.
It comes with traditional Nepalese scabbard This is a full tang Rose wood handle. The Pommel has a brass Lotus Flower to represent purity. The Brass fittings are double the thickness of standard khukuri and includes a brass tip on the wood scabbard that is wrapped with water buffalo. While beautiful, this knife is built to work. The Khukri weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged. Price includes paypal fee, tax and shipping inside the USA.

This type of original battle kukuri was made prior to 1890. The location is called Bhojpur, situated in eastern part of Nepal and is famous for this style khukuri blade. It is slightly heavier than the standard blade khukuri.
