Awesome knife! A beautiful blade to add to your collection, From the excellent sharpness of the tip to beauty of the horn handle to weight of the brightly polished pommel. This beast can also be a great workhorse if needed, the spine is strong and thick enough to allow for batoning and the weight of the knife means it chops really well. My only complaints are that you may need to wrap the handle if you’re taking it into the woods, since it can get slippery. Well worth the price!

Ever since I was a young man watching a movie with Alan Ladd playing Jim Bowie I always wanted an iron mistress. I finally found a knife maker from Texas who used an 1825 Bowie knife as a template. I bought the unpolished Bowie knife and it is magnificent. I have never owned a better looking knife than this. It’s big, it’s heavy it’s lethal, but if you filled a bucket list for me. The knife arrived beautifully wrapped to keep it un damaged. The sheath is really a work of art and the blade is something to stand back and admire. I am so happy that I found Frank At Knives by hand, he is now my go to for exceptional knives. The knife is reasonably priced and the service was quick and without a flaw. This knife and this business rate a 10 by me. Thank you, Frank
