Description
The PALADIN BOWIE was born out of wanting more of a Light weight Gentleman’s Bowie. One that looked nicer on the belt , but still had to be able be used if called upon. Price includes shipping and sheath . As of 2021 this is made as a combined effort between Nepal and myself. The price has been lowered and savings passed on to customer. It is still overseen by myself and I do some of the final finishing.
The Steel if 52100 ball bearing steel. The Horse Pommel is German silver which is a mixture of Tin, Zinc and Copper to give it a patina. The handle is a full tang Coffin handle. as was traditional. Those that were trained in knife fighting would know the origins of this style of handle.
The sheath is a collaboration between Danny Combs (friend) and Nikki (Longhorn Leather Colorado) . The Horse Head Concho was actually found in a crate in Hollywood. They were used on a 1950 TV Show known as Have Gun Will Travel and the main character name was Paladin. His symbol was the Horse Head. I believe this is a Bowie that he would carry. Shout out to say Hello to my old friend Johnny Gardner and the times that we used to shut down the Leather shop to go sip whiskey and watch Paladin. Those were good times.

Butch Montoya –
A true gentleman’s ‘toothpick’ for those occasion when one needs to be proper.
What makes this knife even more endearing is the “have gun will travel” motif. Very iconic for those of us old enough to know.
Not only a functional knife but a work of art.
