This is one of my favorite small Khukuri. It is great as a belt knife and as starter khukuri for a young one learning camping skills. It comes with a hard wood scabbard and a Rose wood handle. The Brass fittings are double the thickness of standard khukuri. The brass tip on the beautiful wood scabbard is a conch shell that represents the trumpet of victory. While beautiful, this knife is built to work.
The Khukri weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged. . Price includes paypal fee, tax and shipping inside the USA.
In the Eastern part of Nepal there is a village named Dhankuta and is the origin of this model of khukuri. Thus the name Dhankute Khukuri.
