Coming from Nepal, This is a combat uility khukuri knife. It comes with some detail work that is noticed by collectors. The Kothi or brass Tip on the scabbard is also customized Never Ending Knot. The Peening on the pommel is not typical, but with design work. The Pommel is custom Lotus Flower that represents purity of body, speech and mind. . Scabbard is double loop to allow for adjustment whether wearing on belt or attaching to back pack. This blade produces very powerful cuts.
It come with the traditional side blades of the Nepalese soldiers known as Gurkhas. The Karda is a small useful utility blade. The Chak Mak is used for honing the blade in the field (Flat Honing steel).
Thapa is a proper surname for a Caste in Nepal that was an important part of unifying Nepal. Many people of the Thapa Caste (clan) fought in wars and many are recognized as great warriors of their time.
