Description

This is a combat uility khukuri knife.  It comes with some detail work that is noticed by collectors.  The Cho or Notch in the blade is custom Lotus Flower that represents purity of body, speech and mind.  The Kothi  or brass Tip on the scabbard is also customized Lotus Flower.  The Peening on the pommel is not typical, but with design work.  The pommel cap is extra thick on this knife and also shows Lotus Leaf.   Scabbard is double loop to allow for adjustment whether wearing on belt or attaching to back pack. This blade produces very powerful cuts.

It come with the traditional side blades of the Nepalese soldiers known as Gurkhas. The Karda is a small useful utility blade.  The Chak Mak is used for honing the blade in the field.

Thapa is a proper surname for a Caste in Nepal that was an important part of unifying Nepal.  Many people of the Thapa Caste (clan) fought in wars and many are recognized as great warriors of their time.

The knife weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged.  This is a good knife for General Purpose camp use and can be used for self defense.  This is a great knife for the price.    Price includes shipping inside the USA.   Email me for shipping cost if you live outside the USA

Wow! I am super impressed with the quality. It’s a very beautiful khukuri and razor sharp. All the little details are spot on. The chackmak and karda are high quality and usable. All this for a very reasonable price. I will certainly be making more purchases. Thank you Frank!!!
