Description
Made in Nepal, the Mountain Khukuri is the latest edition and is fast becoming one of my favorite khukuri. This is made with the tradtional stick tang, but the tang is through tang and peened on the pommel. The handle has brass inlay and is comfortable to grip. The Cho or notch in the blade is not a typical Cho. It does come with the two traditional side blades. Karda (small knife) and Chak Mak (Honing steel). It balances between survival and war and is a great all around khukuri. I do recommend it.
The sheath is higher grade with designs embedded into the leather. It has an extra pocket for supplies such as for fire starting. Included is a leather pouch for a picture of a loved one or to carry tender to keep dry.
The Khukri weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged.

HAVE HAD MINE NOW FOR GOING ON 3 YRS. & I LOVE IT !!!! VERY PRETTY TO LOOK AT, SUPER COMFORTABLE IN THE HAND, BALANCE IS MOST EXCELLENT & BEST OF ALL, IT HAS A VERY “LIVELY FEEL” IN THE HAND. FOR SUCH A BIG BLADE IT DOES NOT FEEL CUMBERSON / UNWIELDY IN THE LEAST. AS ALWAYS SENOR GONZALES JUST KEEPS KNOCKING THEM “OVER CENTERFIELD” YEAR AFTER YEAR & MODEL AFTER MODEL !!!! HE & I HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE 2014 AND IS AN ABSOLUTELY HONORABLE MAN IN EVERY RESPECT, TREATS HIS CLIENTS VERY WELL, & THE BLADES HE OFFERS TO DISCRIMINATING CUTLERY GEEKS, IS WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU SPEND—-OORAH & SEMPER-FI !!!!!!!!!!
