Made through the Blacksmith Purna out of Nepal.
Recreated after a very old design, This Khukuri was used during the period of the King Prithivi Narayan Shah while he was uniting the nation of Nepal. So this style of Khukuri has a very old history. The handle shape is seen in Nepal pictures that are over 300 years old. A good Khukuri to have if you want to go “Old School”.
The Handle is very intricate and a lot of work went into this. This is an amazing piece for collectors. It is real and it does chop wood very well as I tested it at the camp fire.
It comes with the scabbard with belt loop. The knife weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged.
