Once in while, I come across a knife I would have no problem giving to my son or daughter if they were to go to war. This is one of those. This is a newly created version of the Khukuri used for warfare in East India and Nepal. The blade is mirror polished and hair shaving sharp. This thin blade is unbelievably light for it’s size and hardened into the 60’s. It is unbelievably quick. The spine starts at 6mm and spine then tapers all the way to the point. This takes a high degree of skill to create. Notice the blade length and weight. It also comes with the traditional side knives: Karda (small utility knife) and Chak Mak (for honing blade). It comes with the scabbard with double belt loop. The knife weight varies slightly (+/- a couple of grams) as these are hand forged. Price includes shipping inside the USA.
Blade Show 2017: Ethan Becker of BK knives has asked for one , Bill Adams (Cutlery Hall of Fame) wants one, Ryu Li (forged in fire winner) also wants one, AG Russell of Russel Knives wants 25, etc.
