Description

Introducing an Old Style Khukuri  based on  famous Mark I  (also known as MK1) but with a FULL TANG.  This khukuri blade was modeled after what was used during World War I , but by popular request, it has been recreated in Full Tang.  Full tang handle is made a bit larger for USA hands.    This was one of my first Khukuri designs that is now Made in Nepal.

With the deeper grooves in the spine,  this is a style of blade that the enemy would have faced in World War I.  The Notch is known as Kaudi (sometimes called cho).  The Sheath is also heavier duty with a brass Logo of Knives By Hand on the tip

This knife also comes with large side knives that are built for use.  The small sharp knife is called Karda. The other is a honing steel called Chak Mak.  These are traditional side blades and are hardened.

This is hand forged in Nepal per my specifications and by my Blacksmiths.  It is fully functional and sharp.  Made in the same technique that was time proven in ground war.   This is a good knife for General Purpose camp use and easily used for self defense.  Price includes shipping inside the USA.

    Dear Mr. Gonzalez,
First: Thank you for your Service to our great Nation (I understand you to be one of our Veterans).
Next: Your KBH10 is a most impressive blade sir, though you, your Kamis, and I all know I don’t need to tell you.
I am now a fan of your forge’s work.
Fit and finish of all three blades & dap are of art gallery quality and far exceed any expectation.
My justification for purchasing one of your fine pieces was to abuse it clearing the trumpet vines which had overcome our newly purchased property, despite already owning several other legitimate Nepalese khukuris(NOT tourist).
I quickly became hesitant to unleash the KBH10 outside for work after unboxing on account of its particular form and beauty, let alone in 20-28 degree(F) weather.
However, this review is being typed within the past hour and a half of my first experience using new blade.
My KBH10 just yielded the most unexpected, satisfying experience one could hope for on a late morning at the onset of winter in Michigan clearing said vines, most 2” to 2.5” in diameter.
A one-hand-grip was somewhat used alternating left and right grip, though the payoff came big in tight spaces using a two handed “Gurkha-kill-grip”.
***Straight up: this blade moves though it’s target like I imagine a lightsaber doing…. WOW?!!! No more than two to three wrist flicking strokes through said toughest vines -and still looks/cuts pristine like it did after unboxing and even balances on its edge!
***Absolutley NO MODS to grip or blade – used as is shipped straight from source -and still looks gallery-ready and absolutely balances on its edge just like after unboxing.
Shipping was A+ and even arrived on time according to your set schedule during holiday rush!
Many thanks for replying to my emails swiftly and making this all possible.
    Your effort is truly appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Terrence J. Bradley
